Tucson residents who are reaching for tissues and antihistamines, or making emergency appointments with their allergists, are invited to this free lecture to learn more about seasonal allergies and ways to help yourself this allergy season. Randy Horwitz, MD, will explore the nature of allergies, review practical tips to help reduce the effect of seasonal allergens, and reveal secrets from other medical systems that mitigate the effects of allergens. He also will discuss which supplements and botanicals are useful and how to limit exposure to allergens (short of a springtime trip to the Arctic Circle). Presented by The University of Arizona College of Medicine Program in Integrative Medicine.
Randy Horwitz, MD, PhD, medical director, UA Program in Integrative Medicine; and assistant professor, clinical medicine.
