Artist Nikki Westra has reassembled illustrations from discarded, vintage anatomy books into collages that encourage viewers to see them as transformed new images. Using books that range from 70 to 140 years old, she reinterprets the graphics, giving them new life.

The AHS Library exhibit is a sampling of Westra’s complete “Bodyscapes” show that will open Oct. 10 at the Etherton Temple Gallery.
