UA College of Pharmacy Students Team Up with El Rio Neighborhood Center for Free Health Fair
Tucson, AZ – A free Health and Safety Fair will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the El Rio Neighborhood Center at 1390 W Speedway Blvd. Integrated in the event, at the same venue, will be the 8th annual Women’s Health Expo sponsored by students at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy.
This health fair focuses on reaching out to the underserved portion of the community by offering free exams and health screenings. There will also be speakers talking about different disease states. Pharmacists and pharmacy students will provide one-on-one medication reviews. There will be more than 70 exhibitors and a raffle.
This event is free to the public. Spanish translators will be available.
