‘The Spirit of Children’ Hosts Halloween Party for Patients at The University of Arizona Medical Center – Diamond Children’s

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Spirit of Children will host a Halloween Party for the patients of The University of Arizona Medical Center – Diamond Children’s on Tuesday, Oct. 18, ,  1 p.m..
 
Launched in 2006, the Spirit of Children program brings Halloween festivities to hospitals and rehabilitation centers for kids that would normally  be unable to experience Halloween. Volunteer Spirit Halloween employees bring Halloween celebrations to the hospital with costumes, decorations and accessories. Pumpkin painting, costume parades, Halloween games and crafts offer a temporary respite  for  young patients. The program has raised more than $4.6 million for hospitals across the United States and Canada.
