Art Exhibit on Jan. 8 Shooting to Open at The University of Arizona Medical Center – South Campus

As the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 8, 2011 shooting in Tucson approaches, The University of Arizona Medical Center – South Campus will hold an art exhibit that focuses on the healing process and response to the tragedy, which killed six and injured 13, including Rep. Gabriellle Giffords.
 
The exhibit features pieces created by visual artists in Southern Arizona. An opening reception on Thursday, Dec. 1, will feature live music and refreshments from 5-8 p.m.
 
The public is welcome to attend.
 
The exhibit will remain on display Thursday, Dec. 1, through Sunday, Feb. 26. The Behavioral Health Pavilion Gallery is open for viewing 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1:30- 4 p.m. on weekends.
