Father’s Day Council Tucson 4th Annual ‘Golf Classic’ Will Raise Funds for Type 1 Diabetes Research and Clinical Programs at the UA’s Steele Children’s Research Center
The Father’s Day Council Tucson will host its Fourth Annual Father’s Day Council Golf Classic on Friday, May 6, at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
The FDC Golf Classic will raise funds for the type 1 diabetes clinical and research programs at the University of Arizona Steele Children’s Research Center.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., with tee-off at 8 a.m. Entry includes greens fee, box lunch, 19th Hole Happy Hour Awards Ceremony and raffle.
The annual golf tournament is the kick-off event of FDC Tucson’s annual celebration of fatherhood. On Saturday, June 18, the 17th annual Fathers of the Year Awards Dinner & Gala will be hosted by Loews Ventana Canyon. This year's honorees are: David J. Cohen, Brad Feder, Joe Gootter, Michael Parseghian, MD, and Rick Zamorano.
Father’s Day Council Tucson supports the type 1 diabetes research and clinical programs at the UA Steele Children’s Research Center. The Steele Center is home to the Angel Wing for Children with Diabetes – the only clinic in Arizona solely dedicated to children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
