Easter Bunny to Visit Hospitalized Children at Diamond Children’s

Saturday, April 7, 2012 - 2:00pm
The Easter Bunny will visit patients at The University of Arizona Medical Center – Diamond Children’s on Saturday, April 7, 2 p.m.
“We want this Easter to be special for hospitalized kids,” says Jack Foote, with Beautiful Savior Academy, who contacted the Easter Bunny about the visit.
When the Easter Bunny received the invitation to visit Diamond Children’s, he hopped with joy. “Of course I want to visit the sick children at Diamond Children’s,” he heartily responded. “I’ve got baskets filled with goodies galore that I know will make the children happy.”
Volunteers from Tucson Electric Power, Bombardier Corp. and Beautiful Savior Academy, as well as UA nursing students, donated items and assembled the baskets. The visit was coordinated through “Jazmyn’s Lunch-Break,” a Tucson community non-profit organization.
