UAHN Town Hall: Ebola Preparedness at UAMC

Dear AHSC Community,

You are invited to a UAHN Town Hall scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1:30-2:30 p.m., in Duval Auditorium to answer any questions you may have in regard to UAHN's preparedness for the Ebola Virus.

Speakers include UAMC Chief Medical Officer Andy Theodorou, MD; Sean Elliott, MD, medical director, Infection Prevention; UAHN Corporate Emergency Preparedness Officer Don Brazie, CEM; ED Director Kevin Langkiet, RN; and Gordon Carr, MD, medical director, ICU.

An overview will be provided about the virus as well as UAHN’s contingency plan preparation in our ED, inpatient and ambulatory operations. Others from Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be there to answer questions (lab, nursing, EVS, media, etc.) as well. The event will close with a lengthy Q&A period.
