The ceremony will celebrate the graduates of the Health Education Program, the Master of Public Health Program, and the Epidemiology Graduate Program.

The Convocation ceremony for December 2003 graduates of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health is set for Friday, Dec. 19, 2 p.m., UMC's DuVal Auditorium, 1501 N. Campbell. A reception for the graduates and their families will be held in Kiewit Auditorium, Arizona Cancer Center, immediately following the ceremony.
Keynote speaker will be U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva, a strong supporter of the broad vision of public health, prevention, and health equity issues in Arizona's communities.

The Fall Convocation for the Arizona College of Public Health is celebrating 10 graduates receiving a bachelor of science degree in health education, 19 receiving a master's of public health, one receiving a master's of science degree in epidemiology, and two receiving a PhD degree in epidemiology. Established by the Arizona Board of Regents in January 2000, the Mel and Enid Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health is the first accredited public health college in the four corner states and represents a tri-university collaboration among the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University. The Arizona College of Public Health's mission is to promote the health of individuals and communities with a special emphasis on diverse populations and the Southwest. Programs concentrate on the reduction of health disparities, the development and maintenance of healthy communities, and the promotion of healthy lifestyle.
