Gift from Desert Toyota Supports Work of Dr. Jack Copeland
Desert Toyota has made a $5,000 gift to The Jack G. Copeland, MD, Endowed Chair of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The gift, presented by owner Brent Berge and General Manager Jerry Cannella, added to a previous donation of the same amount.
The chair supports the work of Dr. Copeland, an internationally renowned heart surgeon, and his team at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center.
In November, Desert Toyota helped sponsor a dinner held to celebrate gifts to the endowment, which have exceeded $3 million.
"We are honored to benefit from the hard work and generosity of the Desert Toyota family," Dr. Copeland said. "Our success in treating heart failure depends on private support from forward-thinking leaders like Mr. Berge and Mr. Cannella."
