Rural Health Roundtable on Influenza Set for Dec. 16

Videoconference will connect 8 sites throughout the state for discussion among health experts.

In collaboration with the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Arizona Telemedicine Program, the Rural Health Office at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health is sponsoring a virtual roundtable on influenza, Thursday, Dec. 16, 8:30 to 10 a.m. (see sites listed below).
The videoconference will connect participants at eight sites throughout the state for a discussion among health experts on the current and future status of influenza as it potentially affects rural areas of the state.

This unique method of sharing information via the telemedicine networks represents the state's capacity to use technology to bring rural experts together for face-to-face discussions of current health issues impacting Arizona. Confirmed videoteleconference interactive sites are:
