Sixteen AHSC Nurses Among 'Fabulous 50' Tucson RNs
Sixteen nurses from the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center will be among those honored at the 2004 Tucson Fabulous 50 gala on Saturday, May 8.
The 10th annual event is the city's capstone celebration to National Nursing Week, May 5-12.
UA men's Basketball Coach Lute Olson will be the keynote speaker at the formal dinner-dance at the Doubletree Hotel, 445 S. Alvernon Way. KGUN-TV 9 news anchor Colleen Bagnall will emcee the event, which is sponsored by the Tucson Nurses Week Foundation.
Each of the Fabulous 50 was nominated by nursing colleagues, physicians or patients for their professionalism, education, research and personal vitality. The winners were selected by a panel of Fabulous 50 nurse alumni.
