UA Pharmacy Associate Dean John Murphy Elected ACCP President

John Murphy, PharmD, has been elected president of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

John Murphy, PharmD, associate dean of academic and professional affairs at The University of Arizona College of Pharmacy, has been elected president of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

The ACCP is a professional and scientific society that provides leadership, education, advocacy and resources enabling clinical pharmacists to achieve excellence in practice and research. Dr. Murphy’s term ends in October 2009.

Dr. Murphy has nearly 30 years of service to pharmacy education. He is past president of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
