Bill Fink receives distinguished citizen award from UA College of Pharmacy

The Russell award, named for a former College of Pharmacy faculty member, recognizes individuals who have contributed greatly to the reputation and achievements of the college.
Bill FinkTUCSON, Ariz. – Pharmacist Bill Fink received the Findlay E. Russell Distinguished Citizen Award from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Nov. 4.
 
Fink, a graduate of Columbia University, has been a registered pharmacist for 61 years and currently holds the oldest active pharmacy license in Arizona. He operated a pharmacy for many years and has been a managed care consultant for more than 25 years.
 
Recently he and his wife, Betty, established two $1,000 scholarships at the UA College of Pharmacy, one for professional pharmacy students and one for students in the college’s graduate program.
