People on the Move in Public Health

Jill Guernsey de Zapien, associate dean of community programs, was the keynote speaker at the 2nd Annual Binational Border Health Conference October 22nd in Tucson, Ariz.  The conference was hosted by the Global Health Forum and the University of Arizona College of Medicine. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Cecilia Rosales, MD, MS, associate professor and director of Phoenix programs, was invited to speak at the Phoenix Philanthropy Group’s Nonprofit Leadership Forum in Phoenix on Sep 27th. The forum was sponsored by National Bank of Arizona.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Nicole Yuan, PhD, MPH, assistant professor in the health promotion sciences division, completed a master of public health degree from the University of Washington, Department of Health Services in June. Yuan completed the degree as part of a five-year K23 career development award from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Her doctorate training is in clinical psychology.
